What it is
First Aid & CPR Certification is a program designed to educate and certify individuals in the proper techniques for providing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR or AED) in the workplace. The program covers a range of emergency response scenarios and teaches participants the necessary skills to respond appropriately in an emergency.
Why it's needed
Emergencies could and would happen at any time. Having knowledge of First Aid & CPR, AED can save lives. Accidents and medical emergencies can happen at any time, and having properly trained individuals who can respond quickly and appropriately can make a significant difference in the outcome of the emergency. Employers must have enough trained-certified personnel for emergencies in the workplace to comply with CAL OSHA standards.
Who should attend this class
Non-medical personnel personnel, family members , workers, supervisors and or HR personnel who want to have the knowledge necessary to recognize and care for someone in cardiac arrest and or someone who is choking, or in needs of emergency-medical assistance needs to be certified in First Aid & CPR, AED.
